McKee Homes has unveiled a new brand identity designed to reflect the company’s growth, culture, and commitment to homebuyers across North Carolina. The refreshed look comes as McKee celebrates 15 years of serving families and building communities throughout the state.
While the updated logo and website give the company a more modern look, McKee Homes says the heart of who they are hasn’t changed. The rebrand simply brings the company’s outward image in line with the quality and customer experience they’ve been known for since day one.
“After 15 years, it felt like the right time to refresh our look,” said Pat McKee, Owner of McKee Homes. “We’ve grown, our communities have grown, and our customers’ expectations have evolved. This rebrand keeps us grounded in who we are while helping us better serve homebuyers in a changing market.”
The new brand identity was developed in collaboration with the creative team at Do You Convert, who partnered closely with McKee’s leadership and employees to better understand the company’s culture and values. Through a series of discovery sessions and interviews, the project team found that McKee’s strength lies in its people; their pride in their work, and their shared belief that homebuilding is ultimately about relationships.
“Our goal wasn’t to create something entirely new,” said Patty Sloan, Regional President at McKee Homes. “It was to capture who we’ve always been and express it more clearly. The new brand looks cleaner and more modern, but it also feels more like us. Every detail from our logo to the way we tell our story was built around our customers and our team.”
The updated visual identity and website are part of a larger effort to make the home buying journey simpler and more connected for customers. The redesign improves consistency across McKee’s communities and digital platforms, ensuring a smoother experience for buyers searching for information, scheduling tours, or exploring floor plans online.
Beyond the new look, McKee’s focus remains the same: craftsmanship, customer care, and community. The company continues to expand its Community Embrace initiatives, which support local outreach programs, encourage employee volunteerism, and maintain its long-standing support of the Joe McKee Memorial Alzheimer’s Fund. A portion of every home sold is donated to research and family support services in memory of the founders’ father, Joe McKee. “We’ve built a lot of homes over the 15 years, but what I’m most proud of is the heart behind all our work,” said McKee. “This rebrand is part of growing up as a company. It’s us saying, ‘We’re still the same McKee you know, just a little sharper. A little more ready for what’s next.’”
McKee Homes builds in communities throughout the Triangle, Fayetteville, Wilmington, and Pinehurst regions. The updated branding will roll out across all communities and marketing materials in the coming months.
