Recently, Mckee Homes hosted the Grand Opening of its new phase in Evergreen at Flowers Plantation, an active adult gated community in Clayton, NC. Many attended the event, including the Clayton NC Chamber of Commerce. Along with the McKee Home team, the Clayton Chamber helped cut the grand opening ribbon. Retirement Funding Solutions, a Mutual of Omaha Company, sponsored the event.
Guests were excited to learn what the new phase had to offer. Featuring 11 new home sites, the new phase provides all the benefits of Evergreen at Flowers Plantation: great location, fantastic Epcon floor plans, organized activities, and resort-style amenities. Designed with an active retirement lifestyle in mind, Epcon homes feature wide interior doorways and no stairs from the outside. While many Epcon floor plans are available with an optional second story guest suite, single level floor plans are popular and available.
Delighted attendees also learned living in Evergreen comes with the benefit of worry-free lawn care; all yards are maintained by the Home Owner’s Association! Along with the new phase, McKee presented its brand-new model home with an Epcon floorplan – the Promenade Bungalow. This sleek two-story new home earned a gold award in its category by the Johnston County NC Parade of Homes. Additionally, it won a Special Feature Award for its outdoor living space – a large private patio just off a screened in porch with a ceiling fan.
