3 Items In Your Home To Kill Weeds Naturally!

You are officially settled in your dream home and you are mapping out your landscaping plans and goals for a beautiful yard and a few pesky little things are in your way, weeds! Here are 3 items you already have in your home to kills weeds, naturally!

1. Salt. This item is a super common household staple and works on weeds. Take a spray bottle filled with warm water and a good amount of salt (up to ½ cup) and start spraying. This will prevent growth for a long period of time (even permanently) so make sure you target areas such as your driveway, porch steps or any area you are comfortable preventing future growth.

2. Boiling Water.  This is definitely the simplest solution. Bring a pot of water to a hard boil. Once the water has reached its boiling point, pour it directly on the weeds. If the weeds are stronger due to the length of time they have been there you may have to repeat this method over several days.

3. Bleach. This method is also readily available in most homes. Use the bleach undiluted and pour it directly on the weeds. Using bleach can damage the soil around it and prevent other plants as well as the weeds from growing so keep that in mind as your pour!

Also, a quick powerful household combination includes: Dawn dish detergent, vinegar, and salt in a spray bottle and spray the solution directly on the weeds. Those weeds will be gone in no time!

Using these home remedies can cure your weed problem, save money,  and reduce the risks other chemical weed killers contain that are harmful to your skin, animals, and other plants in your yard!
