The groundbreaking ceremony for a new home for Army veteran Sgt. Jonathan Rivenbark and his wife Yulia was January 26, 2015 and drew more than 150 people, including Lt. Gov. Dan Forest, Aberdeen Mayor Robert Farrell, veterans, active-duty soldiers, military family members, and others.

Fayetteville 2013 Veteran's Day Parade
McKee Homes sponsored the Operation Military Kids float in the 2013 Fayetteville Veteran's Day Parade. Members of the McKee family rode the float during the parade.
Thousands of people lined the streets in downtown Fayetteville Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, for the 15th Veterans Day parade, the biggest event of the city's annual "Heroes Homecoming" celebration.
Fayetteville Duck Derby
McKee Homes participated in the Fayetteville Duck Derby on May 4, 2013. The proceeds from this event support more than 30 non-profits.
Description: 15,000 to 25,000 rubber ducks w race down the Cape Fear River to benefit Fayetteville Urban Ministry and several other local non-profits. It is an event full of food, vendors, live entertainment and excitement for all.
NC State Military Appreciation Baseball Game
McKee Homes sponsored a military appreciation baseball game in April, 2013 at Doak Field in Dail Park - Official Home of NC State Wolfpack Baseball.
KidsPeace Foster Care and Community Programs
McKee Homes hosted a realtor’s luncheon in Dec. 2012 where Christmas trees, wreaths and gift baskets were raffled off to raise money for KidsPeace North Carolina Foster Care and Community Programs.
